To me they are like empanadas but steamed or baked... and this new company/bakery is becoming quite popular here in Taiwan (and now in China , too!) the choices are endless -- you can have them filled with sweet or sour or spicy.... meaty or fruity..... lite or heavy..... Chinese, Japanese, Indian, or American (and so much more...) styles.... as a meal or just as desserts... endless choices, I tell you.... not too cheap though as each one is about NT$35 - a little over $1US
... but they are quite filling.....
Now you ask how do they taste??? well, it is HIT or MISS depending on the "co-wei" (filling) of your choice... so for your first experience - depending on what you got - you will either love them or hate them....
